Hiya Eric. Thanks for the Leonard Cohen quote. I've added it to a page of similar quotes (https://newcreate.org/creative-imagination-at-work/) from Paul McCartney, Sting, Lionel Rirchie and others. Here's my favourite: During an appearance on the television show BBC Breakfast, the acclaimed film composer David Arnold was asked how he goes about composing music. He replied: “You walk around with your aerials out and it gets delivered to you. It’s more about feeling it than thinking about it.”

I've mentioned this Substack below the Leonard Cohen quote and included a link.

Very best wishes from the west of England.

Hi Martin, I'm pleased it resonates. Appreciate the link which I'll check. If you're interested in how different musicians write, I can recommend the book from which I took this (title and author in the post).

Best wishes from southern Germany.

Cheers Eric. I linked to the book and its author too. Lots of good reviews on the Amazon page. BTW, it's Jack.
